Our Story
Open Sky Recovery was founded by Daniel Ingersoll, who intimately understands the challenges of overcoming addiction. After successfully navigating his own recovery journey, Daniel spent nearly a decade working in the industry, driven by a passion for helping others find the same freedom and healing he experienced.
Daniel became credentialed as a Substance Use Disorder Certified Counselor II and Clinical Supervisor. However, he soon realized that his true calling was working directly with men throughout the entire sober living process, where he found he could make the greatest impact. Recognizing the need for a sober living environment that offered comprehensive support at an affordable price, Daniel established Open Sky Recovery.
Our program is the culmination of years of experience working in and managing sober living homes, combined with a deep commitment to providing an inclusive, safe space where men can rebuild their lives and achieve lasting sobriety. Daniel’s personal journey and professional expertise have shaped Open Sky Recovery into a place where residents can find understanding, guidance, and the tools they need to succeed in their recovery.

Our Team
Our experienced, compassionate staff is the heart of Open Sky Recovery. We are a fully staffed sober living, with a CCAPP and/or CADTP credentialed staff person on-site 24/7. Our team includes an experienced live-in house manager who resides on the premises, ensuring that support is always available when needed.
Each member of our staff has been carefully selected for their expertise, dedication, and genuine commitment to helping others achieve sobriety. Many of our team members have personally experienced the challenges of addiction and recovery, providing them with a unique ability to connect with and inspire our clients.
